What do you sell in your Etsy shop?

One-of-a-kind Art Dolls, greeting/note cards, hand-stitched blank journals, ornaments, prints, small artworks

About Me:

I work full-time and create the rest of the time, which means I don't get enough sleep! I am also a musician on-hiatus, mom to two wonderful children, and recently discovered I am a "Vindigo," (equal parts Violet and Indigo).

Inspirations:

To humbly quote myself: "Art is to Living, as breathing is to Life."
I believe every human is inherently creative, and there are such marvelous healing powers in the expression of art, music, and words...
Whether through paint on canvas, clay molded by hands, words put to paper, fibers entwined as one...Yes, we can exist without these things, but without it, we cannot truly live.

Favourite Fantasy Authors:

My first loves were JRR Tolkein, and I still have the yellowing paperbacks of the Hobbit and the Trilogy, which I read when I was 16. I read all of Carlos Casteneda's writings as well (still have those books, too!) Later on, discovered Ann Rice- her writing style is incredibly poetic! I am certainly drawn to stories that are metaphoric of the struggle of good vs evil- which is the universal principle in all of life.

Favourite Fantasy Artists:

The work of Forest Rogers (art dolls/paintings) is amazing, simply beautiful, stunning work, and very spiritual as well. I'm also a fan of Marilyn Radzat (assemblage figurines).

Do you accept commissions/custom work?

I consider it on an individual basis, but generally prefer "free-styling!"
