- About Me:
- Actually, our shop is made up of two sisters, but since I do the majority of the internet end, I get to answer the questions. Our mother loved fantasy, so Judy and I grew up in a household where leprechauns, elves and dragons were an everyday part of life - and they still are. Judy, her husband Tim and I share a house as well as the business, and we're still surrounded by all the Fair Folk and their friends. Both Judy and Tim are retired and I was at loose ends after several years as a full-time caregiver, so we decided to give full-time crafting a shot.
- Inspirations:
- The whole world, and all the other seen and unseen worlds around us. Books, old stories, legends, music, gardens - basically anything can be an inspiration.
- Favourite Fantasy Authors:
- Oh so many. The first few that come to mind - Tolkien, of course, Sharon Shinn, Anne McCaffrey, David Eddings, Gordon Dickson, Terry Pratchett, Lynn Kurland (time-travel romance and a few fantasy, Don Callender
- Favourite Fantasy Artists:
- Delight Prescott

New Dolls
We started selling on etsy about two months ago, and so far had not sold a single mermaid. Judy was getting really upset, since those are her special babies. A couple of days ago, she got up and announced that since nobody wanted them, she wasn't going to make anymore. About an hour later, a lady came into the etsy shop and bought eight of them EIGHT!, in fact, everyone of the traditional merfolk. Never say never. A Belated Hello
We actually joined Faeetsy a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't stumble across this part of it until yesterday. I've just been so focussed on sewing and on the etsy shop that I haven't spent much time looking around. Guess it pays to get the flu and spend the whole day playing on the computer. Anyway, I'm glad to finally be here and really glad to be part of FaeEtsy. I'm continually amazed at the incredible talent in this group.
