About Me:: I'm a mom to 3 boys, ages 13, 9 and 18 months. For me, creating is an exercise in magic. I find myself channeling ideas during concerts and on nature walks or drives. I love to read but only fantasy or archaeology. My favorite musicians are Kate Bush, Joanna Newsom, The Decemberists (and maybe a little Flogging Molly and Green Day!).
I try not to take myself too seriously and find delight in the whimsical side of life.

Inspirations:: I love to work with fabrics that have cool textures but am especially inspired by colors and creating beautiful palates. I obsess over color combinations and spend way too long fussing over each piece I make. I use lots of found pieces, beautiful art papers, reclaimed and vintage fabrics, and adore using fine art images in my work. I find the polarity of weird beauty fascinating, as well as the combination of things dark and light. I rarely make the same piece twice, but will do if I miss it overly much!
I create for myself but hope my work gets others excited and covetous over my favorite pieces.
