About Me:

I'm a writer and artist who works and plays in the Pacific Northwest. When I'm not writing or drawing, I also spin, knit, felt, watch birds, garden, pretend to cook, and play with my husband and two cats.

Inspirations:

I find inspiration everywhere--books, music, art, and nature--starry skies and stormy seas; misty mountains and darkened woods.

Favourite Fantasy Authors:

Tolkien, of course; C.S. Lewis, Ursula Le Guin, Neil Gaiman, Robin McKinley, Guy Gavriel Kay, Diana Wynne Jones.

Favourite Fantasy Artists:

Dulac, Rackham, Beardsley, Pyle, Crane, Burne-Jones, Rossetti, Waterhouse, Millais, Moreau, Redon, Maxfield Parrish, Mucha, Klimt, to name a few.
