- About Me:
- Nature is the best teacher of color and pattern...I love examining flowers and leaves up close. I prefer to recharge in a lovely garden or in a park full of large old trees.
I have always enjoyed miniatures and making doll furniture from found objects. I feel there is something magical in tiny plates and little beds. I have been painting and drawing fairies since I was 14 years old and it still is my preferred creative outlet.
- Inspirations:
- Nature!! I also love to watch movies that are visually appealing like, Midsummers Night Dream, Chocolat, Cronicles of Narnia, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory....Merlin...
Music inspires me as well- especially anything with violin, harp or flute in it.

Two New Fairy Houses

I just added two new fairy houses and I am really excited about them. I am starting to figure out ways to make them more intricate and whimsical.

The Fairy Forest
I am so excited....
I took a few of my fairy houses out to my favorite forest spot and took pictures this weekend. I had a blast wading around in the water and hiking around the trees, finding special spots for my fairy dwellings.
I love how the pictures turned out, so I plan to take more houses out....I also would like to start creating a story around them and I have been playing around with an outline. Writing it really tough, though, especially to do it well, so who knows if I w… Continue
