What do you sell in your Etsy shop?

Fantasy and gothic art illustration. You can find prints, ACEOs, bookmarks, stickers, and I'll soon have art pendants, as well as many other things

About Me:

I'm an avid book collector. I love old books, books on the occult, anything having to do with Arthurian literature or history. I also love fantasy, sci-fi, and old horror literature. I live in a cozy apartment with my husband and beautiful daughter, and our two cats, two rats, and four turtles. We love music, mostly heavy metal, doom metal, power metal, celtic, as well as random bands that dont fit into any of those categories.

Inspirations:

I have been inspired from several sources. My father has urged me for years to paint professionally. The birth of my daughter gave me the opportunity to take the plunge and paint while being able to stay home and raise her.

I've had a long running love affair with the fantasy genre. Most children have a movie they watch over and over, and for me it was The Labyrinth. I also loved (and still love!) Willow, Lady Hawke, Excalibur, and The Dark Crystal. I watch "the making of" parts of fantasy movies whenever I can. The world building aspect is so inspiring!

Issac Asimov (sci-fi), Marion Zimmer Bradley (sci-fi, fantasy), HP Lovecraft (horror, fantasy), Orson Scott Card (sci-fi, fantasy)

Favourite Fantasy Artists:

While working with conventions, I've had the opportunity to meet many talented artists. Two that have been expecially inspiring are David Cherry and Cat Conrad. I also love Ruth Thompson, Denise Garner, and Stephanie Pui-Mun Law
